Jose Mourinho reveals how Chelsea will cope in his absence against Stoke

JOSE MOURINHO believes the FA’s decision to give him a stadium ban will inspire the Chelsea players to victory against Stoke

 

Mourinho was punished by the FA for clashing with referee Jonathan Moss during half-time of last month's defeat to West Ham.

Despite Chelsea being in desperate need of three points after a disastrous start to the season, the Blues boss doesn't believe his absence will harm his team's performance. 

 

He told the London Evening Standard: “I think they [the players] will know I am with them. They know I am going to prepare the team until the moment they go to the game.

“They know that during the game the action of the manager is not so crucial and I think the fact they know why I am not on the bench is also important for the group.”
