Star delays £7.2m contract again as Manchester United wait to hear of title clause outcome

SAMIR HANDANOVIC has yet again delayed signing a new contract at Inter as negotiations over the deal extend into a sixth month.
He is expected to sign the four-year contract before 2015 is out and in doing so reject reported interest from Manchester United and Roma in his signature.
But in another twist Gazzetta dello Sport claim Handanovic has demanded a title clause be added to the deal.
He wants a bonus if Inter, who currently share the lead at the top of Serie A, win the league title.
The Slovenia international was one of a number of options supposedly open to United manager louis van Gaal had David De tea completed a transfer to Real Madrid in the summer.
