Fallout 4’s wasteland revealed as Bethesda talk leaked content warning
FALLOUT 4's post-apocalyptic landscape is coming slowly into focus this week, although Bethesda have ruled out talking more on some of the leaked details that have been revealed.
UPDATE ONE: More leaked footage, including videos of gameplay, continue to be shared ahead of Fallout 4's official November 10 release date.
Videos showing the prologue where players can build their character, have been uploaded to pastebin and for those wanting to avoid spoilers, they're a definite no-no.
Other leaks have included missions deeper into the game, involving exploring various parts of the wastelands surrounding Boston.
Bethesda, who have ruled out releasing any comment on the recent leaks, have hinted that they plan to release new information connected to the game, although these may have been partially ruined by the torrent of leaks.
The studio's VP, Pete Hines told fans on Twitter who wanted to know if more teasers were set to be released: "I think we're doing some cool stuff this week that you'll enjoy."
Hines also gave an update on the release of Nuka-Cola Quantum in the United States, revealing that the brand could stand a chance of being restocked if it proves popular with fans.
"I don't know what the #s [stocks] are but if they sell out quickly everywhere hopefully we have a good case for them to make more!" He added.
Fallout 4 is released on Xbox One, PS4 and PC on next week but has seen a mass of images and videos posted online by those who have apparently received the game early.
New leaked images have surfaced from Fallout 4 this week, including shots of the main menu, prologue environments, wasteland encounters and locations.
The studio have worked hard to avoid the release of certain information before the game's launch on Xbox One, PS4 and PC, although new information about the control scheme and abilities on offer have appearead.
However, it seems premature to judge any images of gameplay revealed ahead of launch, as the game is likely to include a hefty day-one patch.
Bethesda have already confirmed they will continue to update the game after its release, with Fallout 4 news earlier from earlier this year confirming the title is set to run at 1080p/30fps on PS4 and Xbox One.
Bethesda's resolution and FPS on PC, meanwhile, have been confirmed as not being limited in any way and will be the most graphically powerful version of the title.
The studio have ruled out commenting on the recently leaked screenshots, both on the official forums and through Twitter.
An official Bethesda Administrator has warned fans that discussion about the subject could see users suspended or even banned from the forums.
"Head's up that we're not allowing links/images/streams/videos to be shared in the forums prior to the release of the game," an official Bethesda post reads.
"Folks that are currently sharing assets either have a copy they shouldn't have or are breaking terms of our NDA with them.
"If you see something you think shouldn't be posted, you're welcome to PM me, but let's wait to share this stuff until the game is actually out -- posting leaked content will lead to warnings, suspensions, and possibly even a forum ban.
"November 10th is right around the corner -- let's keep the spoilers out until then
Studio VP, Pete Hines reiterated the point on Twitter, telling fans: "I am not answering a single question based on leaks and will consider muting folks who ask questions based on them."
Fallout 4: Bethesda talk DLC plans as major Caps exploit is discovered
BETHESDA have spoken more on the new Fallout 4 DLC content planned as fans discovered a new way to get rich quick in the wastelands
Game director Todd Howard has revealed that multiple Fallout 4 DLC packs are set to land in 2016 and will likely include a high number as they will continue to launch well into the year.
Fallout 3 included five DLC packs that saw fans fight in a pre-war simulation, discover a new Raider city, explore a murky swampland along the coast of Maryland and finally be launched into space.
Bethesda confirmed earlier this year that they planned to support the game post launch with new content and various game updates.
Howard explained more this week on how those new packs will be shaped, revealing that the Bethesda team will be looking at fan feedback for inspiration.
"What they bring to it is important, and then we're going to see what people like, what they want more of, what they want different, and then we're going to do that," he said during Fallout 4's red carpet event.
"Our fans are amazing. They're super smart. And this is as important to them as it is to us."
Fans meanwhile, have been busy looking at how to get rich quick in the Fallout 4 wastelands.
A new Caps exploit has been found, allowing fans to purchase a vendor's entire inventory via a bartering glitch.
